All Excursions Are Scheduled and Paid for at the Tree House Village:

*Subject to change based on weather and availability.

The owner of the Tree House Village is also the man who had the vision to pioneer an impressive zipline in the mountains between Samaná and the North Coast.  He hired German engineers and spared no expense in building the tallest and highest rated zip line experience in all of the Caribbean. From what looks like a wrecked ship on top of the mountain, visitors begin their downhill voyage by walking the plank. Reaching speeds of up to 40mph, you criss-cross from platform to platform taking in the 360-degree breathtaking views! After an exhilarating ride across 12 lines and 13 stations, you will reach the bottom and be greeted with a glass of local rum and coke (complements of the friendly staff).  The zipline drops you off right near a seasonal waterfall, Cascada Lulu, and the back entrance of the Dominican Tree House Village.

Enjoy a full day of excitement, fun, culture, and relaxation while we guide you to one of the top 5 beaches in the world, Playa Rincon. Heading out on ATV’s we will travel along the road to Boca Del Diablo, a beautiful ride alongside volcanic cliffs and a gorgeous ocean view.  We’ll ride to the beautiful la Playita Beach for lunch and afterward to the world-class Playa Rincon while taking in some of the most breathtaking views in all the country. At Playa Rincon, you’ll be able to explore the long, solitary stretches of white sand beaches that feel like memory foam beneath your feet. Towards the end of the beach, you will be able to wash off in a beautiful freshwater river that flows directly into the ocean. Finally, we will head to a Casa Tipica (local home) where we learn about how to make coffee, chocolate, rum, local life and more. With so much to do, it is easy to see why this is our most popular excursion.

Available March 21st thru January 14th
More than an excursion, your trip is an adventure into, and a communion with nature! Departing from the private dock in the town of Samaná, we will transport you in our comfortable, fast, and secure boats to Los Haitises National Park, designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. We initiate the tour in “Cayo Los Pajaros” (Bird Cay) where we will observe the breeding grounds of the birds that inhabit the reserve. Depending on the time of year, you may get a glimpse of one of the newborns being fed by their parents.

We will set out on horseback to the Limón Waterfall, located deep within a tropical forest on the Samaná Peninsula. Each guest will have a guide for the trip to help with horses and whatever else you’ll need. You are the V.I.P! After the horse ride you will find yourself at the foot of the spectacular 55-meter waterfall where you can swim, lounge, take photos, watch the locals leap off of the cliffs, or even jump yourself! After enjoying the crystal clear waters of Limón, we will get treated to an excellent Dominican home-style meal. Then we head to Cosón Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Las Terrenas. Here you will feel as though you have stepped onto the set of a movie. You can relax, play in the waves or try your hand at surfing or body boarding. The final stop is a delicious French bakery where you will be able to satisfy your sweet tooth before heading back to the Tree House Village.
